Seki Lab Apps Privacy Policy
Seki Lab ("we") describes below how our apps (the "Apps") handle user information.
Apps covered: Motion Digitizer (macOS / iPadOS / Windows), Motion Camera for Biomechanics (iOS / iPadOS), Motion Calibrator (iPadOS / macOS)
1. Information We Collect
The Apps do not collect any personal information. They do not send names, email addresses, location, device identifiers, or usage data to us or to any third party. Information handled when you purchase a paid plan or a license is described in Section 7.
2. Videos and Coordinate Data
Videos you record or import, digitized coordinate data, calibration data (Motion Calibrator), and project files are processed only on your device and are stored on your device, in your photo library, or in a storage location you choose (such as iCloud Drive). They are never sent to us or to any third party.
3. Camera Access (Motion Camera for Biomechanics)
The App uses the camera to record video. Recorded footage is processed only on your device. The App does not use the microphone and does not record audio.
4. Photo Library Access (iPadOS / macOS / iOS)
The Apps access your photo library for the following purposes. Imported videos are processed only on your device and are never sent externally.
• To import videos you select
• To save exported videos (such as Motion Digitizer videos with the stick figure overlay) and recorded videos (Motion Camera for Biomechanics)
• To load slow-motion videos as their original, unedited files (Motion Camera for Biomechanics, Motion Calibrator)
5. Capture Information Stored in Videos (Motion Camera for Biomechanics)
Videos recorded with the App contain the capture settings (shutter speed, frame rate, ISO, exposure compensation, resolution, and level angles), the recording date and time, the device model, and the OS and app versions. This information is stored only inside the video file and is never sent to us or to any third party. If you share a video file with others, this information is shared along with it.
6. Information Stored on Your Device
The Apps store settings such as language, display and export/import preferences, the locations of recently used projects, the most recent recording, and saved calibrations (Motion Calibrator) only on your device. This information is not transmitted externally.
7. Purchases of Paid Plans and Licenses
Purchases and payments for the paid plans of Motion Digitizer (macOS / iPadOS) and Motion Calibrator (Motion Digitizer Pro, and the monthly and yearly plans of Motion Calibrator) are processed by Apple Inc. through the App Store. We do not receive your credit card or other payment information. Purchase information is handled in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).
Sales and payments for Motion Digitizer (Windows) license codes are processed by Polar.sh, operated by Polar Software Inc. We do not receive your credit card or other payment information. To activate your license and confirm that it is valid, the App sends the license code you enter to the Polar.sh server. No other information (such as videos, coordinate data, or calibration data) is transmitted. To issue license codes and provide support after purchase, we may view the email address you entered at purchase and your order details through Polar.sh. We use this information only to manage licenses and provide support, and we do not share it with any third party. Purchase information is also handled in accordance with the Polar.sh Privacy Policy (https://polar.sh/legal/privacy-policy).
8. Third Parties, Advertising, and Tracking
The Apps display no advertising, do not track users, and use no third-party analytics.
