陸上競技を始めとする様々な運動の動作分析を中心としたスポーツバイオメカニクスの研究を行っています。研究対象者はトップアスリートのみならず、初心者や一般学生、子どもまで多岐にわたります。高いパフォーマンス発揮するための技術に解明に留まらず、運動ができるようになるための技術やできない原因の追及にも取り組んでいます。

We conduct research in sports biomechanics with a primary focus on motion analysis of a wide range of movements, particularly in track and field and other sports. The populations we study include not only elite athletes but also beginners, general students, and children. Our work goes beyond elucidating techniques for achieving high performance and also investigates how motor skills are acquired and what factors limit performance.
